27th Annual Gateway Classic
It’s almost time for the 27th Annual Gateway Classic Boomerang Tournament! This year’s extravaganza will be, as always, Memorial Day weekend. The tournament will take place at Konarcik Park in Waterloo, Illinois, on the same field we have used the past six or seven years. On Saturday, May 24th, folks will meet on the field as they get into town for some socializing and a little practice throwing. At 6:00, we’ll head back to my house for some BBQ and refreshments on the patio.
The tournament will take place Sunday morning, May 25th, around 8:30 am. We’ll throw the standard six USBA events in the following order:
After the tournament wraps up Sunday evening, we’ll come back to my place for pizza, more refreshments, and the awards.
I highly encourage everyone to come on out for all or part of the day, Saturday and/or Sunday! Please feel free to contact me via any of the below methods if you have questions or need directions, etc.
