Four throwers throw maximum time aloft boomerangs in this event to see which team can get the longest total time in the air!

This relay style event has throwers start anywhere in the 50m circle, and the catch may be made anywhere on the field. The time starts as soon as the first thrower releases their MTA boomerang. The second thrower must throw before the first boomerang is caught, but the overlap time is not counted separately. Time is counted from the moment of the first release to the moment of the final catch, so you want as little overlap time as possible between the initial catch and the subsequent throw.

Timers should have an officially recognized timer that is able to take lap times. The moment each throw is made, timers should count it as the start of a new lap. This way, if a boomerang is dropped, the time is counted up to the point of the dropped boomerang’s release.

The team with the longest overall time wins this event.
