Just like Team Accuracy and Team Trick Catch/Doubling, Team Australian Round is run exactly the same as Individual Aussie Round, however the team score is the total of scores made by four throwers of the same team.

Two members of each team will throw in tandem. This requires each pair to make their throws together, with the second thrower having to throw within three seconds of the first, or their throw will be disqualified. If a boomerang hits the tandem partner, the partner gets a zero for interfering with the thrower’s catch, and the thrower gets a mandatory re-throw.

If there are two circles on the field that are usable for Aussie Round, each pair from the team should throw on separate circles. Scoring is based on the same 20-point maximum per throw as the individual event.

The scoring system involves range, catching, and accuracy just like individuals. For more information on how that scoring works, check out our blog on Individual Aussie Round linked below!
