Tournament Director Obligations

Official (Judge) Obligations: The association is managed by a board of 9 directors, each serving a two-year term. A majority of directors constitutes a quorum for board actions. The board elects a President, one or more Vice-Presidents, a Treasurer, and a Secretary every two years.

Contestant Obligations: The USBA also maintains separate Competition Rules that govern tournament safety, scoring for events like Accuracy and Fast Catch, and the obligations of judges and contestants. Legal Status: These bylaws legally define the USBA as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organized under Nonprofit Corporation Law, ensuring that assets are used exclusively for promoting the sport and science of boomerangs.
